1.1 THE BEERMAT DOESN'T FALL FAR FROM THE TREE
The basic principle behind The Beermat Entrepreneur is that
expanding businesses grow through three clearly defined stages:
seedling, sapling, and mighty oak. There are big differences in the
ways businesses operate in these different stages, and authors Mike
Southon and Chris West will explain them at this month's Coffee &
DoughNets. A major reason for startups failing, say Mike and Chris,
is that they act in a way that is appropriate to one stage when
actually at a different one. Join us Wednesday, September 18,
6:00-9:00 PM, for a special night time C&D at the Capital Hilton,
Washington, DC. Sign up now.
