Gina Dubbé, Managing Partner, Walker Ventures
In her role as Managing Partner of Walker Ventures, Gina Dubbé is responsible for the qualification and selection of investment portfolio companies that are focused on selected technology areas. Gina has joined the Board of Directors of several of Walker Ventures' portfolio companies. As a trusted business advisor, the portfolio clients can expect Gina to provide management insight on strategic corporate and technology direction, as well as assistance in fund raising strategies.

Competitively positioning companies, products and technologies is what Gina does best. With 15 years of cross-functional expertise, her background has encompassed all sales, marketing and business development arenas in tandem with solid engineering, general management, organizational development and project management qualifications.

Prior to the founding of Walker Ventures, Gina held several key sales and engineering management positions with RJO Enterprises, Inc., ORACLE Corporation, PRC Corporation, Interleaf Corporation, and Trusted Information Systems. In each assignment, she identified and capitalized on emerging market opportunities, building flagship programs to capture national accounts within the public and private business sectors. Her responsibilities have encompassed strategic sales and marketing planning and implementation, business development, product positioning, and recruitment/development. She has traveled worldwide, negotiating licensing contracts, multi-channel partnerships and direct sales relationships.

Gina is a Licensed Professional Engineer (Virginia) with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from West Virginia University and a Master's degree in Engineering from George Washington University.

 


Robert Skinner, Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales, Icode
An industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience in the mid-market ERP space, Bob Skinner brings significant expertise to Icode. Most recently, Bob was President and CEO of High Branch Software where he oversaw all aspects of the company's business development and day-to-day operations. Prior to High Branch, Bob was Executive Vice President of Sales and Professional Services at Best Software, a provider of human resources, payroll and fixed asset solutions for the mid-market. While there, he successfully built and managed a VAR channel and was part of the management team when the company completed its IPO in 1997, as well as its acquisition by Sage Group, PLC in 2000. He also brings sales and business development credentials, including 10 years at Trinet, where he held the position of vice president of sales and business development.

Bob earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance at the University of Connecticut and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Quinnipiac College.

Carolyn Hyde's experience includes 20 years of expertise in building and managing high technology sales teams. As Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Hyde is responsible for establishing and executing the company's direct sales strategy and insuring revenue target attainment in both the commercial and public sector. Additionally, she oversees the company's OEM, VAR, and Strategic Alliance sales teams and expansion initiatives.

Hyde is uniquely qualified to direct the company's goals of increased sales in the enterprise, commercial and Federal Government markets. She has held senior sales and management positions that dramatically increased revenue generation for Data General, Oracle and EMC. She has a superior track record of managing sales team performance, exemplified by her direction and strategic closing of one of EMC's largest transactions in the Federal Government market.

 


Walt Rogers, Director of Public Sector Business Development,  Akamai Technologies
Walt has over 25 years in sales and sales management with both product and service organizations. He is currently the Director of Public Sector Business Development for Akamai Technologies, the leading Web content delivery company, with a worldwide server network. As the Director of Business Development he is responsible for developing and driving Akamai’s Systems Integrator and partner sales and strategy in the Public Sector Market.

Prior to joining Akamai he has served in executive positions in sales and management with Verity, Accord Networks, Federal Sources, PRC, Federal Data Corporation, FileNet Corporation, Ungermann-Bass and Four Phase Systems.

Throughout his career he has been involved in building sales organizations at the branch office, sales district, and regional level. He has worked on compensation plans, and the strategy of retaining qualified personnel, through the effective implementation of incentive compensation while protecting the interest of the company.
